You know you’re with a nurse when…
…you walk past someone in the store and you all look at each other and say “2 person assist…”
…someone is talking about their grandchildren and they are boasting about “how beautiful the child’s veins are.”

Today I will finish my hospital/health system orientation.
By Monday I should have my schedule for the unit(s) orientation that will occur over the next 10-14 days.

Me: Yep.
Fellow Student: If I hear a crash I’ll come running….
Me: Thanks. It’ll be too late then.

1. It feels great to run a 5k. This year I ran the entire length (last year had to stop a couple of times d/t side splints).
2. Being done with all the work it takes to run a team is a HUGE relief.
For [...]
Today is(was) Earth Day.
The day we acknowledge how important the earth is to our being and try to treat her a little better.
One day versus the other 364…
Me thinks we have this completely backwards.
